# Wilde wingerd

## Parthenocissus sp.

Wilde wingerd (Parthenocissus tricuspidata) is een Chinese klimplant met drielobbige bladeren en hechtschijven die uitstekend geschikt is voor het begroeien van muren waar snelle groei en spectaculaire herfstverkleuring gewenst zijn. Deze klimplant wordt 15-20 meter hoog en heeft variabele bladeren van drielappig tot ongedeeld met kleine bloemen gevolgd door blauwe bessen en vuurrode herfstverkleuring.

Plant klimt met hechtschijven aan einde van ranken en heeft zeer snelle groei. Bladeren variëren van enkelvoudig tot drielappig en verkleuren spectaculair rood in herfst. Kleine groene bloemen worden gevolgd door donkerblauwe bessen die vogels voeden. Wilde wingerd is waardevol voor muurbegroeiing waar snelle bedekking en herfstkleur centraal staan.

​Krachtige klimplant voor een gevel uit de felle zon.

### Onderhoud

Plant wilde wingerd tegen stevige muur in zon tot halfschaduw in normale grond. Plant groeit vrijwel overal.

Snoei jaarlijks in winter voor vorm en grootte-controle. Plant kan zeer dominant worden.

Water eerste jaar regelmatig. Gevestigde plant is onderhoudsarm. Beheers krachtige groei actief.
