# Vetkruid 'Matrona'

## Sedum 'Matrona'

Vetkruid 'Matrona' (Sedum telephium 'Matrona') is een statige cultivar met donkerrode stengels en bladeren en grote schermen van roze bloemen die uitstekend geschikt is voor structurele borders waar kleurrijk bladerwerk en late bloei gewenst zijn. Deze plant wordt 50-70 cm hoog en heeft vlezige bladeren met donkerrode tinten en grote schermen van roze bloemen die augustus-september verschijnen.

Plant heeft opvallend donkerrood bladerwerk gedurende heel seizoen, niet alleen in herfst. Stengels zijn ook donkerrood wat dramatisch effect geeft. Bloemen zijn roze en verschijnen in grote schermen boven het donkere bladerwerk. Vetkruid 'Matrona' is perfect voor borders waar donker bladerwerk en structurele accenten centraal staan.

##  Belangrijke zaken om te weten 

### Cultivars (Soorten)

S. telephium ssp. maximum 'Munstead Dark Red' heeft een mooi groen blad en donkerrode bloemen die tot 40 cm hoog worden.

### Onderhoud

Plant vetkruid 'Matrona' in volle zon in goed doorlatende grond. Vol zonlicht intensiveert donkere bladkleur.

Minimale verzorging nodig. Knip in maart terug. Laat winterstructuur staan voor decoratieve waarde.

Water zeer spaarzaam. Donkere bladkleur betekent niet meer waterbehoefte dan andere sedums.
