# Vetkruid 'Herbstfreude'

## Sedum 'Herbstfreude'

Vetkruid 'Herbstfreude' (Sedum spectabile 'Herbstfreude') is een robuste cultivar met grote bloemschermen die van roze naar donkerrood verkleuren en uitstekend geschikt is voor structurele herfstborders waar seizoensverandering centraal staat. Deze plant wordt 50-70 cm hoog en heeft dikke, grijsgroene bladeren met grote schermen van bloemen die starten als roze en donkerrood worden in herfst. De bloemen beginnen lichtroze en intensiveren naar donkerbruin-rood naarmate seizoen vordert.

Plant is robuuster en hoger dan 'Brilliant' en heeft uitstekende winterstructuur. Zaaddozen blijven decoratief tot voorjaar en voeden vogels. Vetkruid 'Herbstfreude' is perfect voor structurele borders waar seizoensverandering en winterstructuur centraal staan.

##  Belangrijke zaken om te weten 

### Onderhoud

Plant vetkruid 'Herbstfreude' in volle zon in goed doorlatende grond. Plant verdraagt extreme omstandigheden.

Laat winterstructuur staan tot maart. Knip dan terug voor nieuwe groei. Geen extra water of bemesting nodig.

Verdeel grote pollen om de 5-6 jaar. Plant is zeer onderhoudsarm en wordt mooier met leeftijd.
