Deze struik wordt 60-80 cm hoog en heeft ronde, getande bladeren die lijken op berkenbladeren met platte schermen van witte bloemen die juni-juli verschijnen. De bladeren verkleuren spectaculair in herfst naar geel, oranje en rood voordat ze afvallen. Plant heeft zeer compacte groei en verspreidt zich langzaam via worteluitlopers. Bloemen zijn wit en verschijnen in platte schermen boven het decoratieve bladerwerk. Spierstruik 'Tor' is perfect voor tuinen waar herfstverkleuring en compacte bodembedekking centraal staan. Hij staat mooi in haagvorm, maar ook als solitair komt hij volledig tot zijn recht. Door zijn laagblijvend karakter past hij mooi als aanvulling in een plantenborder. ### Onderhoud Plant spirea 'Tor' in volle zon in normale tuingrond. Beste herfstverkleuring in vol zonlicht. Minimale snoei nodig - plant behoudt natuurlijke compacte vorm. Alleen vormcorrecties indien gewenst. Water eerste jaar regelmatig. Gevestigde plant is zeer onderhoudsarm en droogteverdragend. ### Dit wist je nog niet: 'Tor' werd geselecteerd in Noorwegen voor extreme winterhardheid en betrouwbare herfstverkleuring in koude klimaten.
