# Sneeuwwitte veldbies

## Luzula nivea

Sneeuwwitte veldbies (Luzula nivea) is een elegante grassachtige vaste plant met smalle bladeren en opvallende witte bloempluimen die uitstekent als accent in schaduwborders en natuurlijke tuinen. Deze plant wordt 40-60 cm hoog en heeft lijnvormige, zachte bladeren met dichte clusters van kleine witte bloemen die juni-juli verschijnen in fluffy, katoenachtige pluimen.

De bloempluimen zijn het hoofdattractie - dichte, witte clusters die boven het grasachtige bladerwerk uitsteken en een luchtig, texturaal effect geven. Plant groeit in pollen en heeft wintergroene bladeren. Na bloei blijven de pluimen decoratief als ze opdrogen. Sneeuwwitte veldbies is perfect voor schaduwtuinen waar lichte accenten en grassachtige texturen gewenst zijn.

##  Belangrijke zaken om te weten 

### Waar plaatsen

Een vochtige, goed doorlaatbare, niet te vruchtbare grond is ideaal voor dit gras. Hij verdraagt zon, halfschaduw en zelfs schaduw. Plantdichtheid: 7 - 12 per m²

### Onderhoud

Plant sneeuwwitte veldbies in halfschaduw tot schaduw in vochtige, humusrijke grond. Plant verdraagt schaduw uitstekend.

Verdeel pollen om de 4-5 jaar in voorjaar. Verwijder oude bladeren in maart voor nieuwe groei.

Water tijdens droge periodes. Mulch licht met bladcompost. Plant heeft lage onderhoudsbehoefte.
