Deze plant wordt 20-60 cm hoog en produceert kleine witte bloemen gevolgd door decoratieve pepers die van groen naar hun eindkleur veranderen. De pepers zijn meestal zeer heet en variëren van 1-5 cm lengte in verschillende vormen van rond tot langwerpig. Plant heeft donkergroene bladeren en compacte groeiwijze. Vruchten hangen vaak rechtop en zijn zeer decoratief tegen het donkere bladerwerk. Sierpeper is perfect voor containers waar eetbare decoratie en hete pepers gewaardeerd worden. Zet het plantje niet buiten vooraleer het vorstgevaar is geweken. Omdat de planten vrij diep wortelen kan je best diepe potten gebruiken. Plantdichtheid: 5 - 8 per m² ### Onderhoud Plant sierpeper in volle zon in goed doorlatende potgrond. Plant heeft warmte nodig voor goede vruchtontwikkeling. Water regelmatig maar laat grond tussen watergiften licht opdrogen. Bemest maandelijks tijdens groeiseizoen. Oogst pepers wanneer gewenste kleur bereikt is.
