# Siberische lis

## Iris sibirica

Siberische lis (Iris sibirica) is een elegante vaste plant die 60-100 cm hoog wordt met smalle, grassachtige bladeren en sierlijke blauwe, paarse of witte bloemen in mei-juni. Deze winterharde lis vormt dichte pollen en heeft veel kleinere bloemen dan baardlissen maar bloeit rijkelijker. De bladeren blijven decoratief tot de herfst wanneer ze geel kleuren.

De plant groeit het beste in vochtige grond maar verdraagt ook normale tuinomstandigheden. Veel minder vatbaar voor ziekten dan andere lissen. Bloeit betrouwbaar elk jaar en de pollen worden elk jaar groter. Na bloei vormen zich decoratieve zaaddozen. Zeer winterhard en onderhoudsarm. Siberische lis is perfect voor natuurlijke tuinen en waterpartijen.

##  Belangrijke zaken om te weten 

### Waar plaatsen

Siberische lis is ideaal ​voor vochtige plaatsen. Goed bestand tegen (zee)wind. Plantdichtheid: 6 - 9 per m²

### Cultivars (Soorten)

I. sibirica 'Blue King' en 'Blue Moon' bloeien diepblauw; 'Silver Edge' heeft blauwzilveren bloemen met geel.

### Onderhoud

Plant Siberische lis in zon tot halfschaduw in vochtige grond. Verdraagt ook normale tuinomstandigheden.

Knip na bloei stelen weg of laat staan voor zaaddozen. Deel pollen om de 4-5 jaar.

Water tijdens droge periodes. Geef voorjaarsvoeding voor optimale bloei. Zeer onderhoudsarm.
