# Noorse esdoorn 'Frisine'

## Acer platanoides 'Frisine'

Noorse esdoorn 'Frisine' (Acer platanoides 'Frisine') is een compacte esdoorn met roodachtig uitlopend bladerwerk dat overgaat in groen en spectaculaire oranje-rode herfstverkleuring toont, ontwikkeld voor kleinere tuinruimtes. Deze cultivar wordt 8-12 meter hoog en heeft een ovale kroon met vijflobbige bladeren die uitkomen in bronzen tinten.

De bladeren lopen roodachtig uit en worden geleidelijk groen gedurende het seizoen, eindigend met intensieve oranje-rode herfstverkleuring. Boom bloeit met gele bloemen in vroeg voorjaar en heeft een compactere groei dan de gewone soort. Ontwikkeld als verbetering voor stedelijke omgevingen. Noorse esdoorn 'Frisine' is perfect voor middelgrote tuinen waar seizoenskleuren en compacte boomvormen gewenst zijn.

##  Belangrijke zaken om te weten 

### Waar plaatsen

De boom is redelijk bestand tegen wind maar houdt niet van een te vochtige plek. Plant de Noorse esdoorn in de volle zon tot halfschaduw.

### Cultivars (Soorten)

A. platanoides 'Crimson Sentry' blijft lager (8 m) en heeft een kenmerkend rood blad; 'Globosum' of de bolesdoorn heeft een afgeplatte, bolvormige, zeer dichte en brede kroon, en wordt hooguit 6 m hoog; 'Columnare' is een smalle, bijna zuilvormige boom met een donkergroen blad en een gele tot rode herfstverkleuring.

### Onderhoud

Plant Noorse esdoorn 'Frisine' in volle zon tot halfschaduw in goed doorlatende grond. Boom groeit in verschillende omstandigheden.

Minimale snoei nodig - alleen vorm-correcties en dode takken wegknippen. Boom behoudt natuurlijke vorm.

Water regelmatig eerste jaren. Gevestigde boom is redelijk droogteverdragend. Bemest jaarlijks voor optimale kleuring.
