Deze wilde clematis bloeit van juli tot september met massa's kleine, crèmewitte bloemen die een zoete geur verspreiden. Na de bloei verschijnen decoratieve, pluizige zaadpluimen. De plant klimt met bladstelen en kan bomen, pergola's en schuttingen snel begroeien. Bosrank is bijzonder geschikt voor natuurlijke tuinen en wilde hoeken waar snelle begroeiing gewenst is. Plant dicht bij het terras, in volle grond, op een zonnige beschutte plek, of in een grote pot. Het mooist langs een pergola of tegen een rek, op een beschutte plek. ### Cultivars (Soorten) Apple Blossom bloeit delicaat roze… als een appelbloesem. Het blad loopt mooi bronskleurig uit. ### Onderhoud Plant in halfschaduw tot zon op vruchtbare grond. Zorg voor stevige klimsteun - bosrank wordt zeer zwaar. Houd wortelzone koel met mulch. Snoei jaarlijks in februari-maart om overwoekering te voorkomen. Plant groeit zeer krachtig en kan andere planten overgroeien. Water regelmatig eerste jaar. Eenmaal gevestigd zeer droogtetolerant. Let op verspreiding via zaad en uitlopers. ### Dit wist je nog niet: Bosrank is perfect voor natuurlijke tuinen waar snelle begroeiing gewenst is. De plant biedt nestgelegenheid voor vogels en voedsel door zijn zaadpluimen. Let op de groeikracht - kan andere planten overgroeien.
