# Citroenboom

## Citrus limon

Citroenboom (Citrus limon) is een populaire mediterrane kub­plant die heerlijk geurende bloemen en eetbare vruchten produceert.

Deze compacte boom kan 1-2 meter hoog worden in een pot en bloeit het hele jaar door met witte, geurige bloemen. De glanzende, donkergroene bladeren verspreiden een frisse citrusgeur bij aanraking. Bij goede verzorging ontwikkelen zich echte citroenen die je kunt oogsten. Perfect voor terrassen en als mobiele tuinplant.

##  Belangrijke zaken om te weten 

### Onderhoud

Plaats buiten in volle zon, binnen op lichtste plek. Citroenboom heeft veel licht nodig voor bloei en vruchtzetting. Overwinter binnen bij 5-15 °C.

Water regelmatig maar zorg voor goede drainage. In winter minder water. Gebruik bij voorkeur regenwater - citrus is gevoelig voor kalk.

Bemest maandelijks in groeiseizoen met speciale citrusvoeding. Snoei licht in voorjaar voor vorm. Verplaats geleidelijk naar buiten na winter.

Citroenboom combineert sierwaarde met praktisch nut. De geurige bloemen en glanzende bladeren maken hem decoratief, terwijl de vruchten culinaire waarde hebben.

Perfect voor mediterrane terrastuinen. De mobiele opstelling maakt seizoensgebonden plaatsing mogelijk: zomer buiten, winter beschermd binnen.
