# Boerenjasmijn

## Philadelphus 'Virginal'

De boerenjasmijn is een bossige struik die diep wortelt en even breed als hoog wordt. De witte bloei met gevulde, grote tuilen komt tevoorschijn in mei - juni en ruikt heerlijk. De donkergroene bladeren zijn ovaal, gezaagd en tot 10 cm lang.

### Waar plaatsen

Makkelijke plant, stelt niet veel eisen.

### Onderhoud

Pas één keer per jaar verjongingssnoei toe, in de winter of in de zomer. Verjongingssnoei in de winter: oude scheuten tot aan de basis afknippen en jonge scheuten tot de helft inkorten. Verjongingssnoei in de zomer: knip na de bloei, op het einde van de zomer, de helft van de oude scheuten tot op de grond af.
