# Blauwe spirea

## Caryopteris × clandonensis 'Heavenly Blue'

Blauwe spirea is een heel aantrekkelijke heester met veel geur en kleur. Hij past ook perfect in een border, tussen andere vaste planten. De grijsgroene-donkergroene bladeren zijn geurend, licht gekarteld en staan mooi aan sierlijke doorbuigende takken. De blauwe bloemen staan op korte, rechtopstaande trossen die bloeien op éénjarig hout.

##  Belangrijke zaken om te weten 

### Waar plaatsen

Blauwe spirea verkiest een droge, zonnige plek en hij verdraagt ook halfschaduw. De plant kan ook in bakken gezet worden. Hij verdraagt geen zeewind of koude noordoosten wind.

### Onderhoud

Knip de blauwe spirea terug vanaf april tot 20 cm, zo verkrijg je een bossige groei.

### Dit wist je nog niet:

De plant is een mooie bijenplant, d.w.z. dat veel wilde bijen, hommels en vlinders hun nectar en stuifmeel komen halen.
