# Baardbloem

## Caryopteris Clandonensis

Deze struik heeft ranke stengels met geurige, getande en groengrijze kleurige bladeren. Tijdens de zomer bloeit de struik met blauwe, violet of witroze bloemetjes. De gevleugelde vruchtjes lijken op nootjes.

##  Belangrijke zaken om te weten 

### Waar plaatsen

Plant de baardbloem in de volle zon. Hij leeft op een zandgrond.

### Onderhoud

Deze struik moet regelmatig gesnoeid worden. Door zijn snelle groei gaat hij zonder snoei snel verouderen. In het voorjaar, rond maart, snoei je de struik terug tot op 20 à 30 cm. Zo gaat de struik een bossige groei vertonen.

### Dit wist je nog niet:

De plant is een mooie bijenplant, d.w.z dat veel wilde bijen, hommels en vlinders hun nectar en stuifmeel komen halen.
